Rates and Fees
The PILF accepts cash and checks. Credit and debit cards are not accepted.
Annual Permits (calendar year)
An annual permit or punch pass card is required for the disposal of trash and/or demolition debris. A permit or pass is not required to dispose of tires, clean wood, metal, appliances or universal wastes, but additional fees do apply.

Punch Pass Cards
Punch pass cards are available for limited use of the landfill. Each pass will allow the purchaser three (3) trips to the landfill. Up to two (2) cards may be issued to a household or business annually. Cards must be used in the calendar year in which they were purchased. As with the annual permits, no additional disposal fees apply for residential household trash. Additional fees would apply for commercial waste, demolition debris or other fee items. Disposal Policies
Residents of Presque Isle, Mapleton, Chapman, Castle Hill, Wade, Washburn, and Perham must use the Presque Isle Landfill (not TCL).
Hazardous and/or Special Wastes
Hazardous or liquid wastes are NOT accepted.
Certain special wastes, such as non-friable asbestos, ash, and petroleum contaminated soils are accepted. Certain conditions may apply, so please call for more specific information.
